I have had several years of experience with mobile discos - weddings, birthday parties, New Year's Eve and Christmas functions, anniversaries, presentation nights and promotions, theme nights, Blue Light Discos, Charity Events and Over 35s Nights.

 

Originally learning the craft in Alice Springs, I have also performed in a few nightclubs but the majority of work has been functions, especially weddings.

 

I moved back to Darwin and worked for a DJ hire business, including a few Night Clubs.

 

 I learned to be comfortable using a microphone as much, or as little as required and  to try to play as many requests made on the night, as possible.

Initially, I worked for hire businesses, for around 7 years and then retired.

 

In July 2011, while performing at a friend's wedding, I found that I am still passionate about entertaining.

 

When I moved back to Alice Springs in June 2012, I saw that there was an opportunity to start my own business and fill a gap. I've worked at one pub venue since my return, as well as several private and charity functions.

 

I still enjoy most genres of music. I like to play new releases and incorporate "live" artists with vocals/karaoke and instruments, as accompaniment. I also work with bands and other DJs. I'm also looking to incorporate Karaoke, in the future.

Whilst I don't have extensive knowledge on Country, Hip Hop and RnB, with prior arrangement, a specialist may be available.
